Margot Robbie Just Cut Her Hair Way Shorter, And It Caught Us By Surprise -

Margot Robbie is pretty classic when it comes to her glam. She's made soft, low-key makeup her signature – while her long, blonde hair has remained a consistent part of her look for the past five years. In fact, her longer length hair was central to Margot's aesthetic during her stint on the Barbie press run, where she gave us XXL ponytails, disco curls, layered updos and Hollywood waves.

Not since 2018, when she sliced her hair into a chin-length bob, have we seen the actor take her hair drastically shorter, but having put her time as the world's most famous doll behind her, it seems Margot was in the mood for a fresh change.

While attending the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA on 13 April, Margot debuted a brand new chop, which saw her hair trimmed to her collarbone. The last time the actress appeared in public was a month earlier to celebrate the Oscars on 10th March, where she wore her bra-length hair loosely waved down her back, so we're not sure when exactly she made the cut.

Her hair stylist for the occasion, Christopher Farmer, shared a photo of Margot's new hairstyle on his Instagram, but he remained tight-lipped in the caption when it came to the details and the decision behind the cut, choosing instead to tag the rest of Margot's glam squad.

He styled it straight and bouncy, blowdrying the ends under into a slight curl for a sleek retro feel. Meanwhile, her makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, created a classic Margot look, with glossy lips, blushed cheeks and bare lids, paired with a coat of mascara.

Last time Margot took things lob length, it was the start of inching her way up toward a bob – so we're excited to see what's next on the Margot Robbie hair journey.
